Enable Floating Window Apps on Realme Q2

Do you want to know how to enable Floating Window feature on Realme Q2. This feature can be very useful sometimes when you wanted to reference a notes app when browsing web or for using a floating calculator.

With the latest release of Realme UI 2, Realme UI 2.1 running Android 10 or Android 11, there is an Floating Window option to open an App in a floating screen that floats on top of all other apps. So you can use a floating calculator or app window when you are using Chrome as your main app.

How To Enable Floating App Window in Realme Q2

Step 1: Go to the Recent apps window on your Realme Q2 by swiping up and holding ( if you are using gesture navigation ) or by tapping on the recent apps navigation icon.

Step 2: Now Search for the App you wanted to open in a floating window and tap on the two dots icon on the top left of the app to view the options.

Step 3: Now tap on the Floating window icon ( The second icon from the top like in the screenshot below). If the floating window icon is greyed out it means that application doesn’t support floating window feature.

Step 4: Now you will see the floating app on top of other mobile app you are currently using. You can move the app to where to wanted by dragging the top while bar. Step 4: You can also make it stick to the corners of your display by selecting the top bar and selecting the Mini Window option ( You can also do this on the recent apps menu). Now the app will be made smaller and it will float on any of the corners of your screen.

Now it will hide to the side of your phone display. To open it you can tap on it and drag the floating screen where you wanted on your Realme Q2.

That’s it you have sucessfully enabled the floating app window on your Realme Q2.

For older Realme devices with older Realme UI version like REALME UI 1.0 running android 8 and below, this floating window app feature won’t be available.

How To Close Floating App Window on Realme Q2

On your Realme Q2 running Realme UI 2.0, to close the Floating Window App, just click on the X bottom on the top right corner of floating app as shown in the screenshot below.
