    Samsung Galaxy A5 2017

My Google page is dark, the rest of the phone is fine. It started off this morning white, now it’s black and I have tried numerous ways (all online) to rectify but with no luck. I’ve followed the details in your tutorial for disabling but whe I get to “Display” my screen doesn’t show two light/dark images as yours does. On my A5 2017 screen for Display the top line is Brightness (not Dark Mode Settings as in your photo)!! (Then Auto brightness, Blue light filter, Font and screen zoom, Screen mode, etc etc), nothing that hints at light/dark mode. Therefore there is nothing to press. Please advise.

    Many thanks

You might have turned on Google own dark mode feature in Google setting when Google was testing it. You just have to disable it on Google settings page.
