  1. Open your Samsung Stock Camera App on your Galaxy S7.
  2. Now click on the Settings icon on the top left of the app.
  3. In the Camera setting menu under the Intelligent features options, you will find the “Scan QR Codes” Option.
  4. Now enable this option to turn on QR Code scanning by tapping on the toggle.

After the QR Code Scanner option is enabled on Samsung Galaxy S7, Open the camera App and you can point your camera to a QR Code and the camera will display the Website URL or necessary information from the QR code.

    My Galaxy 7 doesn’t have the set up you describe. The settings are on the top right not “top left” and there is no “Intelligent Features” or “Scan QR Codes” options. :'(

      Software update seems to have removed this option.

      You have to download the updated camera app as that feature is not available on your phone by default.
